It's hard to believe we have barely a month and a half til summer holidays.  We have lots planned between now and then:

Seems like just last week we were gearing up for the new school year and now we're getting ready for Christmas Break.  With last night's snow fall, that holiday feeling is in the air.  Unfortunately, due to the current strike action, the annual Christmas Concert is cancelled this year.

We have lots of fundraisers for you to choose from right now, all designed to make getting ready for the holidays that much easier.

Year End Review

A new school year is about to begin - hope everyone had a splendid vacation.  We're looking forward to hearing everyone's summer stories.  Did you go away?  Get to laze around in the backyard doing nothing at all?  Were you a tourist in your own city?  

We have a lot of exciting things planned for this year starting with a revamping of the Grade 7 fund-raising to planning for the Sports Box.  We would be very happy to hear your thoughts and suggestions on any topic concerning the school, fundraising, projects, you name it, we're interested.

Count Down to the end of the School Year!

It's hard to believe June is almost upon us and soon summer will be here (even though Mother Nature appears to have lost her calendar).  We have a few events coming up: District Track Meet, Sports Day, Parent/Teacher Lunch among others.  Keep an eye out for more information.

It's time to volunteer for the Walk-A-Thon - April 23.  This is an excellent fundraiser for the school.  At recent PAC meetings parents have supported the idea of a Sports Box suitable for year-round use (including during the summer).  This would be a permanent structure that would offer hockey, basketball, possibly tennis among other sports.  

We'll be selling Cedar Rim's Hanging Baskets again this year - in time for Mother's Day.  Purchase your coupon(s) from a PAC member and take it to Cedar Rim and pick the basket(s) of your choice.  Remember to use the coupons before the expire!
