Welcome Back!

A new school year is about to begin - hope everyone had a splendid vacation.  We're looking forward to hearing everyone's summer stories.  Did you go away?  Get to laze around in the backyard doing nothing at all?  Were you a tourist in your own city?  

We have a lot of exciting things planned for this year starting with a revamping of the Grade 7 fund-raising to planning for the Sports Box.  We would be very happy to hear your thoughts and suggestions on any topic concerning the school, fundraising, projects, you name it, we're interested.

We are still looking for Fund Raiser Coordinator(s).  This position is best suited to a partnership or a very dynamic person with lots of time to spare.

We are having a Hot Lunch on Friday, September 17th.  This is a free lunch for all students and staff paid for by the PAC and the School.  Lunch consists of 1 hot dog, 1 drink, 1 ice-cream cup and one snack per student - no off-sales.

All parents of attending students are voting members of the PAC - you do not need to sit on any committees to participate in the PAC - only attend the meetings and bring your ideas.  The community at large are also members of the PAC in a non-voting capacity.  If you wish to increase your participate level the PAC Executive welcomes all help in any capacity you are able to provide.  Please talk to me with your ideas.

I am looking forward to another year as PAC President - we have a wonderful group of parents on the Executive, without whom I could not do my job so well, and I know it will be a productive year full of excitement.
